N/P Pellet reactor flow

I'm having some trouble with the flow for my pellet reactor.
It is a Skimz FM100 with about 250ml of pellets.
I've tried a hailea 6530 (1750L/H)
The pump is quiet old and the flow seem less then it should be.
It hardly moves any pellets.
I want to get a new pump but don't know what to get.
Do I go for 1000 / 2000 /3000 l/h ?
I recall reading something about 1000l/h for every 250ml of pellets.

a heilea 6540 should be fine but you sure there are no blockages? 2000L pump should be more than enough

Found the grill preventing the pellets from passing through the reactor was partially blocking the outlet.
