    Hey guys,

So I have started collecting the fish for my new tank. This tank is going to have as many things with stings as possible :)

here are some pics of my yellow leaf scorpion fish, and my cockatoo waspfish. Also a pic of my Hawkfish. (he was posing and begging for a pic)

    Thanks Dallas.

Well the hawkfish is kinda like a bully, but he keeps away from these guys. I think its coz of the venom maybe.

added them on Monday and so far its all good. I think the hawkfish will be too big for them to eat. he's growing fast. its almost the same size as them.

The cockatoo is taking frozen lance fish from day one. just weening the leaf fish onto frozen. but i'm sure he will get on soon.

Will be getting 2 fuzzy dwarf lionfish ;) Just some of the fish I have on my list.

Want to keep the smaller ones so I have more variety.

@Bubbles22 that looks great. good to see more people keeping these. Does yours eat frozen foods? also where did you get the flounder from and how big is it?

Lmao.. its just going to get worse from here on with the future additions I have planned. but they will come next year after the new tank is built.

I dont think it will be that bad, these guys move slowly.. very slowly. just gotta have a good spotter with me. My son is the perfect height lol.

But I will need to work out some other safe ways too. maybe to use those thick rubber gloves??

Once I have all the fish on my list.. I might also add a devil stone fish. Now that's a reason to worry. Theres been death cases reported from those fish. Will probably just remove him and put it in my sump for the time i work in the tank. Good thing is that they are slow. When I put these two in the tank on Monday, they actually swam into the net.

 Dude, even if they move 1cm an hour I still wouldn't dare put my hand in the tank.
I purchased my tank and it came with 2 lion fish, I never ever ever put my hand in, When I need to move stuff, I use to put a glass sheet in the middle of the tank and keep them on the other half while I worked in the tank, even then, I was shitting myself...

:lol: i'm just tired of seeing the usual reef tank. I love these strange looking fish and their strange behaviour. So its a risk I'm gonna take. I'm sure I will get used to a method of working in the tank. The thought of having a perspex devider in while i work did cross my mind. Will just have to see what plan i can make when I cross that bridge. What lionfish did you have?

Yeah, I'm sure you'd find something.
Just normal local caught lion fish... No idea on the specific name.

That means you had the volitans. They are considered the ultimate bad@ss of lionfish. But in my case they would get topo big in comparison to my other preds, and most likely become food. Thats why i'm going with the fuzzies. just hoping i get a pair. Fuzzies are also easier to get onto frozen foods and they become very accustomed to the owner(the food god) :)

You could see it wriggling in there tummy for a while, was wicked stuff lol.

Cool bro. I will start a thread for that tank. I see you also like collecting stuff from coast. Maybe we can hookup when I'm down and see what we can find. Got some cool stuff with @durleo the last time.
