My Tank

    HELLO to everyone

    I am riyadh

    If memory serves me right i have been with masa since 2007....

    So i would like to thank the gurus, people, etc for helping me in my time of need...

    Ive got a Aquah H2O marine tank
    Tank dimension
    Length-1200
    Width-0.500
    Height-0-550

    Ive got the aquastarlight mh with DE150 12 000k bulbs the unit has 2bulbs
    I have 3 10 000k aqua medic t5's
    and 2 actinic aqua medic t5's
    reef octopus skimmer
    4 seio m1100's power heads
    2 regent power heads

    I had this system 4 2 years, had endless problems and nearly through in the towel
    until i found this site which was referred too me by a good friend called Imraan.

    I like the aquascaping but I would turn the powerheads to face in to create water movement where your corals will eventually be. Well done so far

    Mekaeel i don't what model it is but i will post a pic later of the skimmer....

    When i bought it from Imraan he told me that it will skim double my tank size

    Its been working well for 2yrs now....

    The reason why my tank is still so empty is that i work offshore....
    I don't want to put in things that will make my wife panic...

    Thus far she has been a great help to me when i was away...

    when i normally return my tank is full of hair algae...
    why i cannot understand...

    About a 6weeks ago my KH went very high but with the support of people like Tony and few others it came down...

    Riyadhessa, that is my signature, was when i started the hobby on the net, not confused anymore so maybe its time to change. lol

    Hey Riyad

    I see that this i a FOWLR system I would turn off the halides for now and just run the t5s. When you upgrade to a reef tank then turn the halides on.
