    Hi All

After spending a while on MASA and realizing all the mistakes I made from the beginning I decided to upgrade. I currently have no sump which makes me limited to alot thats why im upgrading. My tank is not drilled and I checked the price of the overflow box. Might as well buy a new tank. So this is what im planning 900L X 450H X 600D. Overflow in the centre.

I got a quote for the tank made in 6mm glass with eurobracing top and bottom for R650. I need MASA's approval before I give the LFS the go ahead.

Weak spot in the tank will be the cut out in the center back. OK, Tank is small enough, but I will not trust that cutout on a big tank.

You could still fit the overflow like that. Instead of cutting the tank, just drill 3 holes. My suggestion though would be to put the overflow on the side of the tank and use the whole side of of the tank as the overflow. You will get good surface skimming that way and no in-tank overflow that takes up valuable real estate space.

If i do go bigger i can only go deeper. My tank is under a staircase so 900L is the max. So if I change the specs it would be 450H 900L 700D.

Man does not matter the bigger the better and the more options you will have in the long run. So go as big as possible

My advice in terms of size,go for as much width as possible.
    Ok, how about this, 900*900*600H?
