Here are two photos of my tank I took using fluorescence. Some coral died off, some started growing wild. It is a dynamic system that has ebbs and flows just like real nature outside I guess. This tank has been up and running for 2.7 years now.

I always thought I did something wrong when something died off in my tank - and although very often this is true, I do not think the Zoanthids, Euphyllia and Club Finger coral were due to negligence.

I think the zoanthids died due to predation by the 3 urchins I have in the tank - and I can prove this as I actually saw them eat the polyps.

Not sure why the Euphyllia died - it was healthy for 2 years.

The club finger coral lost its main branch - I guess the green star polyps scarred the tissue inducing RTN? There is still a new head that is alive and well.

    Thoughts?

I love the way the colour schemes run in your tank, starting with green and blue on the one side and blending through to orange on the other. Really beautiful!
