Welcome trik107....unfortunately you are visiting the DARK SIDE now....best would be to go introduce yourself here:

    Tropical Aquariums South Africa

As for your question , yes Omega One is brilliant and there is a wide range of foods including wafers for the pleco and more.

Dory & Idol Marine wont be able to assist they are marine speciality stores , I am sure Jungle will

    Happy keeping :)

 Unfortunately you ended up on the MARINE forum , dedicated to people who like to waste their money keeping marine tanks.

Our sister site is way cool and the guys should be able to assist you

Keeping marines vs bathwater (freshwater) is sometimes reffered to as the Dark Side of the aquarium hobby ;)

Trik107, this forum caters specifically for the Marine aquarists whilst the sister site Tropical Aquarium - Tropical Aquariums South Africa - caters for freshwater tanks.

The difference being that Marine is tropical salt water instead of freshwater like you have.

As for the food, I use TetraPrima and OceanNutrition "formula One flakes" for dry foods as well as frozen bloodworms for that something tasty. My freshwater fish all love these and are doing very well.

Head on over to Tropical Aquariums South Africa and register an account to join in with the rest of the freshwater enthusiast :)
