started up my nano in February 2008 as a total newby to marines

the nano was shut down a few weeks ago and all contents moved to my new setup, and this was one of the last pics taken of it:

beginning 2009 started planning and building onto a new setup, 5 foot tank with 4 foot sump, total water volume around 600Litres, and this is the latest pics of how its taken shape:

Very nice JP - tank looks great.

Just a question - is that caulerpa in the sump?

If it is, you need to keep an eye on them and leave the light on 24/7 to prevent them from going sexual. They can leach toxins back into the water column if not pruned regularly.
If you don't know caulerpa very well, read up on it or for piece of mind replace it with chaeto (chaetomorpha algae) - much more forgiving ;)

the nano got shut down, and everything moved to the new tank, together with the big crals from the frag tank... the water parameters are just way more stable, and the maintenance is lower in the bigger tank... running the sump and DNW-150 on the new tank, the filtration is also ALOT better..
so currently the nano is sitting empty in a corner untill i find a use for it again, since selling it just wont make financial sense..
