Cute tank, tell us more about it (how long you are running it, stocking plans, if you have any other equipment on it etc).
Looking forward to the additional pics! :)

That sea star is a sand sifting star. And your tank is way to small for it. Sorry but you have to let it go to a bigger more suitable tank. It does look healthy thou. But should not be up against the glass.

yup i just have the tank over 2 weeks now and will make changes in near future

been I while since I updated my post.

I finally got the hand of maintaining the marine on my own :m03:

I recently added some candy cane , pulsing xenia and few mushrooms ;)
also added 2 Hermits an a watchman goby , I must say the tank is coming together nicely.

this month I am looking ta add a backup system to deal with Eskoms crap.

pics to follow

oh ! the yellow tang will be up for sale soon , I think its not happy anymore ..
the replacement will be regal tang or koran angelfish

looks like i need do to more research before purchasing ...

I am also shopping around for other lights. I want to get ride of my lid, tank will look better without it

My opinion, a regal grows faster than a yellow.

In your size tank, no tang would be OK. Sorry. :(

you can always upgrade...
For tangs, tank length is more important for tangs. For that rectangular tanks are better than similar in volume cubes.

Other fish like clowns do not venture far form their safe zone or hosting anemone. That is why they are a lot better suited for smaller tanks.

To do list ::)

1-Adding a chiller,
2-Thinking of getting a Kessil A360 with goose neck or doing a LED conversion on the lid,
3-Want to sell the anemones and replacing it with Hammer or torch coral,
4-Yellow tang might be up for sale soon.

small update...

I got rid of the nems and added few corals

I recently discovered that me Sera 130 uses the same globes as the aquaria MW37 , so seeing that aqauria sa is 5 min away from my place I headed over and got me a set ....

before changing the globes
