    Hey All

I thought I'd share my progress and update with all of you as it's been 8months of learning/trial and error and I'm getting some good results. 250litre tank with a 60litre sump, 6 x T5 lights.

My first picture shared was 2 months in and more just to say hi.

As time has progressed I've changed a couple of rocks, coral positions etc. And have had quite a bit of awesome growth. Only recently has I started getting a little hair algae which I am needing to keep an eye on and see what I can do to ensure It doesn't get out of control. My updated tank is 8months in.

    Thanks

Wow. That is a nice looking tank. Your first marine tank?

    Thank @TaahirS
First coral/reef tank. Had one about 10years ago, but didn't have the right knowledge and funds:) So it was more of a fowlr tank, used to get water from the sea etc. In my opinion not really a tank. I then shut that down and went into proper freshwater aquascaping & learnt a lot about water/lighting and water chemistry. After getting frustrated with not being able to get various fish and plants into the country I decided to set up a 2 foot salt water tank. The bug bit and 2months into that tank I converted my freshwater to salt:) this one.

@459b thanks! You can see the kenya tree on the right which I'd like to train to flow over a bit like a weeping willow into the open space between the 2 live rocks mounds.
