    Hey everyone,

Just though I would share some pictures of my ricordea collection so far, I plan on getting as many different colours as I can:

Awesome man. I so want to set up a Ricordea garden in my new tank, I just never see them in the shops. Well done and keep us updated on these.

To give you an idea of there size, the orange one on the right is about 5-8cm's in diameter. All the others are about the size of a R5 coin...

The nice coloured polyps mainly come from usa. Who knows why they are so scarce because they are really in abundance in america. Maybe the reason we don't get them here is that pet shops don't import from usa that much as I think the freight, corals and fish are really expensive from there. It is a pity though as I would love some of the zoa's they get in america.

Didn't know you could buy them on ebay. Don't think they would survive the long trip and $99 for how many, that seems expensive because you still have to add tax and freight.

I found this on ebay for $99, but the person charges $35 for freight in the usa, imagine what he would charge to send them here. Also he says the corals are all acclimatised under 400W 20 000K Metal Halides at just 10in of water, that seems extreme IMHO unless the light is like 4 meters away from the water:

For florida or yuma's. I know yuma's are more expensive but florida's should be around R300 from a pet shop. The rare colours are more expensive but the ones that I have above should sell for around R300 at that size. Bigger ones are also more expensive.
