Hi Franske - I would rather suggest getting either a TS1 or a BM-100 - either will give you AWESOME results in that size tank!

Look at my setup to get an idea of how to have a remote fuge or DSB. You can use energy savers with a kelvin rating of 6500k for chaeto.

You can "rake" it with your fingers once or twice a week or you could get a sandsifting gobie like I did...

Yes, but only if you DON'T have too much water flow in your sump..... which you should not have in any case.....

Yes Franske - that's exactly what I dose.
    I dose:
    - Sodium bicarbonate (once to twice every 2 weeks)
    - calcium hydroxide (once to twice a week)
    - iodine (once to twice a week)
    - magnesium sulphate (once to twice every 2 weeks)
    - Fresh RO water (constantly ;)

    For phosphates removing:
    - chaetomorpha
    - HUGE HUGE skimmer
    - SeaChem Phosguard

    Cheers mate!
