the wide borders on the tank. Is that extra silicone spread out to give that look, or is the edges sandblasted?

Also how many powerheads do you have. I only see one. Is the flow inside tank enough to keep things in suspension until it goes over the overflow?

Yes it is sandblasted, i only have 1 powerhead as the other one broke 2 weeks ago, but the return pump reallly creates a lot of flow on the right hand side of the tank, but im saving up for vortech's or something like that

Those edges are a dead give away where you got your tank from...:tt2:

Anyway your tank is looking good:thumbup:

Looks very nice. Your skimmer seems to be skimming very wet, even though the tank is new and there is very little bioload, it still looks to be pulling out too much water, you may want to drop the foam level a bit. Also your sun coral, they do not enjoy strong light, they prefer to be in a shadow, underneath a ledge or something similar, so perhaps consider moving it to a less lit area of the tank. :)

Apparently they need to be fed daily or at least every 2 days and you need to ensure each individual polyp/head gets food as they do not share a "stomach" (for want of a better word, lol). A lot of people remove them from the tank and feed them in a bucket, this helps to ensure each head gets fed.
