My new shrooms and xenia :D

finally got me sum shroom frags, these guys are stunning

Also, I've added sum Xenia stalks to my sump and they appear to be growing
They not pulsing tho like their display tank counterparts. I've got an energy saver 6500k lighting my sump. Any reason i shouldnt keep them there?

Nice. Xenia are very good as part of your filtration in your sump, keep them there. Perhaps add another bulb for some extra light.

what are xenia actually? what do they do? are they like chaeto?

xenia are pulsing soft corals scuba
ben, i have them growing like weeds in my display tank, so wanted to see how they'd do in the sump.
my single 5cm frag has grown into a 20cm diameter monster in less than 2 months and have them popping up all over the place as well, was hoping to grow them in sump for any of the guys that wanted sum..
