    Hey everyone,

Got a nice big RBTA today, here are some pics of it as I put it in the tank:

Since taking the picture it has doubles in size already. For a size comparison, the maroon clown is around 7-8cm long.

It is still expanding. Around 20cm at the moment.

I think I will leave this one to split on its own. From what I have read, once they start splitting, they soon take over your whole tank.

Been looking for a rose BTA for a long time. Was so excited when I saw one yesterday at wild on pets.

    Nice looking anemone you have!

Anemones split when they're stressed. If kept under the right conditions it shouldn't take over your tank for many many years. The take over should be because its growing.

Thanks. I was just reading about people that feed their anemone silver sides ever week and their anemones are always splitting. So I guess it is a good thing if it doesn't split.

Usually...Anemones that are fed well grow quickly. If they get to big for the space they have chosen to call home they will usually split. It is not always water parameters, and lighting that causes an anemone to split. I personally would call a split because the anemone has out grown its space a good thing...It saves me from a tank upgrade and somebody gets a new anemone.
