    Hi all

I had a disasterous experience with ich which equated to most livestock lost. I then decided to say farewell to my 4ft and go 2M !!!!!!! I am also looking at more natural filtration solutions so I doing a lot of reading at the moment !!!!

This is my story so far.......

I bought Wizards 2m tank and this is where I have taken it.

    Remember this ?

I had my rock waiting in the sump on my "Stoep"

PS I got LOADS more rock later........

The start of my Cycle. I got Caribsea Black Aragonite and they said it would cycle in two weeks and well.... IT DID:thumbup:

Nitrates are nearly none existant and no phosphates ! I am going to try and nurse my biological filter as much as possible !

    My to do....

More frags (Softie SPS and LPS) to be collected ! Donations are welcome ;)
    Research and more filtration systems.
    Hook up my Chiller again
    Have fun doing it !!!!!

    Having Fun?;)

Why not put a small ABS plastic sheet on the front of the overflow box? Will hide the downpipe.

    nice... :D
Maybe when I get back from work we should do a south coast tank tour... I would love to check this baby out....
I was keen to buy that tank, so I am very envious... I gotta wait my turn in a year or two to upgrade.

Thanks ! I was in two minds about the Hawaian Black and now that I have done it, I do not think I will turn back ;-) It also does wonders in the accenting the Fish Colours !!!! Got some junk on the sand I need to clean up but once done....

My goal it later to go reef specific and only have species endemic to Hawaii in my tank. That is going to cost $$$ but hey... why not ?
