My "new" 24 gallon JBJ Nano

nice nano dude!
what about more LR?
do you have a cuc?

What is a cuc? (new to this remember)

I want to keep the glass and back wall clean and are still playing with the idea to have a small (until it grows to big) plate coral on the back sand.

Don't want to go higher on the right as I think (ok I hope) the torch and frog is going to grow up to fill the space.

I may go higher on the left (currently filled by a large fox that are being cleaned of glass anemones).

Have not given up on my anemony, so want to keep my options open.

Also worried about being to top heavy with the stand alone structure. I have used wood and epoxy to attached the pieces to each other, but still won't call it stable.

PS. Note for next time, once you have glued rocks together, you can't take it our again to attached new corals to it and have to put the corals on under water. :p

CUC - Clean up crew - Snails, hermits etc.
'

Yip, two hermits and one very big Turbo. Also two things that looks like bubble snails that comes out at night and two mysterious half moon snails that lays all the white eggs on the back.

Looks like they are doing a fine job, hardly any algae on the rocks.

Looking great, Len. No fish ?

Sneaked in some live stock last week when I picked up premix. Added

1 x false clown (amphiprion occellaris)
1 x yellow shrimp goby (cryptocentrus cinctus)
2 x cleaner shrimp (lysmata amboinensis)

Also allowed the salesman to talk me into buying a cocos worm (protula magnifica)

Don't think I can give it sufficient food in my tank :(

also lost it's one "head" during trasport

Matt, what/how do you feed it?

I spot feed mine wiht a small bit phyto plancton every two/three days, but can not feed to much without a skimmer.
Matt is not around, but he was not target feeding at all, so you should be fine with your current feeding regime.

You will see growth on it's tube, very easily.

Very nice corals, Len.

the hitchhikers are mushrooms, will grow like wildfire ;)

Awsome tank dude, It is overflowing with possibility.
Whats the long term plan?

For now just to keep them alive and get them to grow. My first tank, so still very worried that I am going to kill all of it. If I can keep this stable for 6 months, I would like to add some more corals to get "complete" coverage of the LR.

Main objective to is add a anemone :wave2:

I would like to see if I can add a small refugium to the DSB with a LED light system.

Also want to move it to a proper stand so that I can hide all they wires, it looks like a ICU.

Still got to pipe the chiller into it and should be getting my backup powersystem next week.

On the side, I am still planning a big cube.
