    Hi Guys,

    Just received my Big Big Skimmer & Bio Pellet Reactor.

    24mm Glass are being deliverd tomorrow...

    Can't wait for my new little ocean....

    For that size, i'd recommend at least three, although i reckon four tunzes on a multicontroller on four on two wave controllers would be the bomb and last you almost a lifetime.

    Yes I tried them. Not sure that they worked. Nitrates and phosphates never came down with the reactor online.

    let me answer if i may, you can run both, the DSB will provide additional hosting for bacteria for NH4->NO2 and eventually NO2->N03 both will be good to start from the beginning. if you run both you might not need as many ml's of the bio-pellets as the DSB will become a denitrator, but it can be left out or run as a DSB refugium for macro algae and pods

    @dallasg Yes Im thinking of moving my old DSB to the new tank... Its 3 Years old.. Can also use it to seed the new DSB+Bio ??

    you cant move a dsb, if you disturb the lower levels of the sand it "kills" the dsb, what you can use is a few cups from the top layers

    looks great! but dont leave the baby playpen near an aquarium if baby is in it, Aquariums can and have been known to burst!
