My long shallow reef

    well so after setting up a nano and didnt like the small tank that much i decided to transform my 240x60x45h tank into a shallow reef. waiting to drill the tank and fit overflow and return. got myself an ATI 250i powercone skimmer, sicce return pump, saga auto top up, gona habe a DSB. intend to keep softies so only have two 4x54 odyssea light units, adding ati tubes. going to use base rock. already playing with the rocks to make out the scape while im waiting to get the tank drilled. but patience is not on my side!

    its the rocks for about half of the tank still need to get the other half sorted. want a flowing scape with lots of open space

    no. will start washing it when overflow is fitted and sump is customised to fit that skimmer.

    haha raised the lights when i cleaned the tank will fix it when the setup is ready. Welkom freestate is boring! if im back tommorow i want to play with the rocks again but need to get one more box of base rock.

    ja,nog een boks is genoeg het nog ini nano ook
    dont want a lot of rock. want open space in the tank. have an idea in my head. will have a talk with Deon on monday about getting this tank done after hours he lives close also and he said we can check to do the overflow after hours. stressig a lot to Drill the tank!

    i like shallow tanks for me its easier to clean. not the tallest person haha
