    Hi guys

Some help needed as my leather that I've had for 2yrs is not opening any more and I can't understand why when I've got exactly the same leather (which is bigger) that's opening beautifully.

The only thing I can think of is I've recently changed the aquascaping n now the leather is abit higher toward the light.
Not sure how to upload apic for any1 to see what I'm explaining so maybe some help in that regard would also help.

    Thanks

When replying now I saw I've got the option to snap a quik pic below. Its from my phone so obviously not the clearest but u should be able to see what I mean. @butcherman- hope that's not the case as the piece of rock that its attached to will b awkward to move again. But just incase I've got 4 t5's and I think over enough flow as the coral that I have seem to be having fun.

More than likely the change in light intensity.

how long has it been like this. perhaps give it a few more days to see it it comes right, as leathers can sulk for a while befor returning to their happy state

I have had them stay "closed" for longer periods to no ill effects.

Not at all, don't even have a clown and my hermit crab never goes upstairs. Just really frustrating that such a beautiful leather has been so full of moods for 2weeks!

hows the flow over the coral? Leathers don't enjoy direct flow or a high flow for that matter, i dont see there being a big problem with the lighting issue as T5's aren't as intense as MH's (for example). So it should have maybe sulked for a day then started opening again.

@traut See what did we say :p sometimes doing nothing is better than doing something.
see how it opens over the next few days. should be fine from now on.
