Well to get to this point it has taken me just over a month... I'm quite please and very satisfied as I have put everything together myself from start to finish. Now just to find equipment for my pice of ocean.

Efj the tank is 1.4x 600 x 600. Cabinet still needs to be oiled but I'm trying to keep it looking like it is

Yeah, I like the natural look, suppose you will go with a light stain. Just a question, I noticed you don't have euro bracing on your display tank, what glass are you using?

I would suggest installing euro bracing on your tank especially if you are going to leave the tank standing so close to your TV. Maybe @leslie hempel can maybe help with advice as he is a pro at building tanks. Also I would advise that you should move the tank away from your TV and electronics as accidents and flooding have happened to most reefers in the world no matter how careful you are. Also the added sound and flashing images can stress fish out. I am just giving advice.

Haha thanks for that EFJ, I have also braced the bottom of the tank and got on more corner brace to install over the corner overflow.
Now I need to hire an army to move the tank... It's damn heavy

I was referring to the top rim of your tank. I have seen loads of tanks where that single centre brace pulls away from the glass over time. A brace running along the length of the rim just adds that added strength and peace of mind.

EFJ are you referring to a pice of glass like under the brace running the entire top rim of the tank and side?

Agree on the need for top bracing to be allround (euro braced) I'd go 80mm in width and 10mm allround

Thanks @EFJ... Just need to get my hands on some more live rock for the sump or some other bio media.
Tanks has started to go brown and blow bubbles... Think that's a good sign (algae)
