Hi. Just a warning, I tried black Poly Ethelene and silicone does not stick to it. Perhaps the experts on the site can give more background on how to silicone Perspex to glass.

I can put glass but drilling holes is a nightmare glass will just crack

Coz I have to drill hole for the pump and holes for water to flow in to the filter chamber.

I tried to drill today and I cracked 2pcs of glass need to try and get someone who knows how to do it

And I think I can paint the glss black but I need to find out what paint I must use to do so

when drilling glass you have to take it slow and also make sure to make a well so that you can keep water on the place you are drilling to keep the glass and the drill bit cool because if it gets to hot the glass will expand and crack... also try to make sure that you hole is at least 5 cm from an edge or corner as this is where the glass is more likely to crack hope you come right pm me if you need some more pointers

I spray painted the outside of my back window. Normal black spray paint. 6 Months later and it is still holding.

to drill holes is easy, use diamond bit, i will post pic of bit. take same size of black perspex as the piece you want to make your seperation anf stick to the glass. it is easier to make the weir out of the perspex.
