Might have to stop by them and pick one up. How did u wire it up? Do you have any protection from the water or anything like that?

Thanks Jacques... I like the idee of the 8000k Energy savers.... Think i will get some nice growth with them... But stil going to get 3 more then its going to be bright... I'm still busy with the lighting rig, stil need reflectors, atm using foil and its works a bit, but thinking of getting mirrors...

I'm going to stock this tank very slowly... Fish i want a Midasblenny, Bi-color blenny and mybe a Scooterblenny... Ohh yes and one small Regal Tang thats it, will be it for my Fish...

Corals, well everythting thats got some nice color to them, stil reading up on what tipe of corals can go together...

Will keep you all posted as i go along...

    Thanks

Before you get a MH - see if you get any good growth with ONLY the energy savers?

Also another thing Jason - could you perhaps post a picture on the packaging of those energy savers?

Do you perhaps know anyone with a light meter? I wonder if one of the more advanced reefers in Cape Town might have one. I would LOVE to know what the PAR output of that energy saver light is!

OK Cool! So how many fittings do you have there for those 8000K energy savers?

One, Stil need 3 more... The 8000k are all screwings... Its 5 bucks a fitting so its cheap... Getting them over the weekend, as they have no more stock... It still looks like a back yard job, but will be get some nice reflectors and sort out the wires...
