    Hey guys

Thought its finally time to start posting some pics and info on the tank I'm busy with.

This will be my first marine tank so I'll take it really slow(Strangely, it also suits the budget, lol).

    The Tank:
Its a 250L Waterhome tank in 10mm Glass. The total dims are 1000mm x 600mm x 450mm. It comes with a canopy and a built in light fitting. The issue is that the built in light fitting is a T8, so I'll have to rip that out at some stage to replace it with T5s.

The tank is not drilled yet, but its getting done either tomorrow or Saturday. I just need to run some pipe diameter figures by you guys before I go ahead.

    The Sump:
The sump is a tiny little thing. Its a 70L 2.5 foot jobbie. I'm a little worried as the sump is just over 3x smaller than the display tank

I'm busy modifying it to better suit what I need from it, so check the pics below.

As for everything else, I still need to purchase them. But I'm patiently waiting for that magical 15 December date.

Okay so on with the pics!

The DT. (Its a bit bigger than it appears in the pics!). Currently in its temporary home in the spare room. I need to have a stand built before it can move to the lounge

After I started siliconing I didn't dare touch the phone to take pics.

    Will update again soon!

    Cheers

Hey guys, I might need some help here.

Would 4x 39w T5s be enough to sustain some basic corals? If I work it out its 2.8watts per gallon.
For corals I need 3.5wpg no?

These tangs always fight when you put more than one in a tank. :p
