My 15 1/2 week old seahorses had babies!

    There is certainly no shortage of seahorses here. I turned the lights on the juvi's tank today to find babies. I'm not counting these, but I estimate there to be about 80. They look pretty healthy too.

    Am I reading right? Children bearing children .... What is this world coming to? Just kidding ... Is this normal for them to give birth at such a young age or ........

    4 months, just like banggais. That means you raised them under perfect conditions and in horny water. :)

    Babies? How far is Sara with her offspring?
    I assume her offspring won't make it to top the 4months mark.

    It's happening again! I just found one warning baby in the juvi tank. The problem is I'm not sure which one is releasing babies. There are a few fat males that look like they may be pregnant.

    Brenda, do a 100% waterchange, so the horses can turn back to normal. Use the old water to boil your rice and your life will be normal as well! :)

    Just keep making that salt water and remember when you spill it, the floor gets just as slippery as those algae covered rocks were! :whistling:
