Hi so It's been a year since I was last on MASA, It's great to be back. so I got a new tank two weeks ago specs:1.5m x 880mm x 650mm. reeftex skimmer, phosphate reactor, bio-palette reactor and a DSB. Firstly Does a bio-palette reactor work. secondly what are the peoples viwes on LED's as lighting or should I stick to metal halides and t5' .

welcome back dude. Well firstly you shouldnt have a dsb when you use bio pellets. They should be the only form of filtration with a powerful and efficient skimmer being a must.

Lighting depends what you want to keep. Have a look at the TSR's DT.. They have Led's only.. either will work, however LED's are more pricey for the initial purchase but have many benefits.. MH is tried and tested and is know to give great results but not without its cons :)

Usually the pipe that is dripping slowly. Do you have a resin chamber? If yes, it is the pipe coming out of it ;)

i think you can use dsb together with a bio pallet reactor.although both have the same purpose .

You not going to get better (*check the spelling I am on my phone no spell check ;) - giesmann globes they the best.

You have other good brands ATI etc but you not going to get close to Giesmann.
