Our tank is 3 months old. Water parameters are good but we dont have a skimmer yet. Can we add mushrooms without a skimmer?

have you got fish. If you dont have fish and inverts then you dont really have a bio load for the skimmer to take out so it shouldnt be a problem

Thanks everyone. We have a sump of approx 60 litres with purigen, matrix, bioballs etc. I am going to add phosguard. We have 4 x small perculas, 5 x small chromis, 1 x sleeper goby, 2 x hermits and 4 x shrimps. The display tank is 5ft, about 300L.

Yeah you can add the mushrooms in, you will need decent lighting (4xt5) .. I would highly recommend getting a skimmer
