    WELCOME to MASA, Enrico

There are lots of info on breeding clowns here on MASA - just do some searches, and then ask specific questions if there is anything that you're not sure of. The one secret of successful breeding, is to start of with breeding the right food for the baby fish. Do a search for "rotifers" and "phytoplankton" as a start.

A canister filter is not really suited to a reef tank. Why don't you invite your father to also join us here at MASA - we will gladly advise him on how to set up a reef tank the right way...

Welcome to MASA, you have great goals lined up for the future, however you need to review a load of info through MASA as the people here are awesome and always willing to help with anything you need to know.

The right advise given for the right application, good luck and get your dad on MASA, we welcome all reefers. I am in your area (Boksburg) and can assist with the little bit of knowledge I have on reefing and you and your dad are welcome to pop in and have a look at how I put it all together - 99% advised by the guys on MASA...A few months ago I had no idea what I was doing, I am still learning on a daily basis and owe a great deal of thanks in most of my reef knowledge has come from this forum.
