Hi all, does anyone have any tips on moving an open brain coral? im trying to move him without touching any of the lobes but it is very difficult, does it damage the coral if i pick him up by the lobes? afraid the skeleton might puncture the soft tissue :(

Try to get your fingers underneath him and work him with your fingertips into your hand.

Yip there normally is a large stem/funnel underneath and thats the best place to hold them.

wave your hand over it, disturbing it with the extra turbulence. It will then retract.
Or else wait until lights out and when it retracts by himself.
