Was wonder, is it an issue if the insect flying around the lights at night get eaten. My trigger has started grabing them into the water and eating them.

do i need to start covering up

I would love to know as well, my current fish are too small to eat them, but I'm planning on some bigger ones.

Dont think so. My tangs always peck at the bugs that fall in and they seem fine.
In summer i do tend to switch the lights off earlier to not attract the bugs and mosquitoes

Forgot the front sliding doors open. I had 151 mosquitos above my tank last night. Counted them as I sucked them up with the vacuum cleaner.
