just got back from ponta !
got back sunday actually - what a trip
    weather- amazing
    beer- icy
    food- exceptional
    roads- suck
took us 9.5 hours to get from morningside to the kosi bay border
there are road works from just outside ogies , all the way to pongola
    i would estimate about 15 , stop and starts !! ( 1 side of road closed )
we decided to come back standerton way , and that took exactly 7 hours from kosi petrol station home !! ( no stops )

but , nevertheless , was well worth the trip

diving was exceptional with loads of turtles in the bay
guys were saying plenty jollies on kevs ledge , but we didnt get to see any

    enjoy and drive safe

Damn, sound like an awesome trip you guys got planned! so Jeleous!

Sims, we must make a place to go some time! Perhaps April / May....

I also need to got some more Tipo Tinto to make those R&R's, all out now!

Say Hi to Fernando! Oh and if you guys want some really awesome chicken while getting :1: at Fernando's, just follow the path next to Fernando's up into the market, about 4th or so row on the corner there is a "Stall", man it was the best chicken I've ever had to be totally honest, and they treat you like kings!

Hope you guys have a blast, and don't forget to take small change!

WOW your non reefer clamped your ankles? And is going to do the bunny gram stuff?

Can't remember much after all the Ponchos, or perhaps it's my aging memory but "Bunny grams" are pink drinks with fluffy foamy heads and a sparkly tangy taste that put stars in ones eyes, tinsel in ones hair and a dont know how i got it black eye in the morning.
