Montipora unicornis

    Hey all I have some soft corals and is now looking at the Montipora unicornis (if I have the name right)
    I want to get this coral as my next coral but before I do I want to have all equipment in place.

    What should I get beforehand.and also is it a verry hard coral to keep and what special requirements does it have.

    Thats the one yes I am actually looking at a coral that shape like the cups shape it dont nesasarily needs to be the capricornis.any other sugestions and is this coral readily available?

    One of the easy SPS (small polyped schleratinians) to keep, as long as your system is stable with half decent lighting and lowish nutrients.

    Yes I have most test kits keeping alk,cal and mag stable at the moment but I am not doing anything to the iodine exept through water changes also dont have a test kit on that one.thats why I ask what should I check for parameter wise.
    First want to get all this stable before introducing the coral. (little afraid of sps)

    Montipora is more on the level of the easier LPS and softies than other SPS. Doesn't need much light and tolerates a fair bit of abuse.
