    Hi,

Is it a bad idea to put different kinds of liverock in the same tank?

I have a Boyu TL550. I'm going to start with Kenya liverock, but I am thinking of adding some Fiji liverock as well.

To do or no to do? Please help with this question...:confused1:

You can do it, no problem. A lot of guys has systems with mixed live rock. I feel that it is good to have diversity from different areas. So go empty your wallet :p

Nothing wrong with mixing. Can use the cheaper stuff for the base of your structure and then stack the prettier more expensive stuff where you'll see it.
