Hi Guys

i have two African clowns in my 110l Boyu - its been running for 7 months

Can i mix other clowns with them? if so, in pairs?

thanks

Hi Roy,

The short answer IMHO would be No ..... I think they are part of the Damsel family and in general are highly agressive you would be asking for trouble....

Cheers

remember that clowns may pair , but have the need to protect the item that they choose to host in, even if it is only an area. they are not only agressive , but also frantic trying to prevent squatters in their area!

No, don't add more clowns. There will be a blood bath in such a small tank :(

Stay away from Maroon Clown

My Maroon Clown is so evil that he actually attacks me when I put my hands into the tank. Ever felt the bite of a clown - I have LOL

IMHO stay away from maroon's. Beautiful creatures but the collateral damage is HUGE. That said I'm about to trade mine in after 5 years so that I can expand to a broader more peaceful collection. I'm thinking Skunk Clowns.. and Common Clowns..
