okay , i have 2 jojo 500 litre drums , and looking to use them to create a mixing bin , and RO water storage.

my plan is to have a drainage pipe from my DT , and drain water out , then use this existing pipe , to pump NSW back into tank.

what i am not too sure about is how to do this , especially since i have 2 pumps , that i have , and wanted to use.

my plan , was to use valves and plumbing to control flow.
    here is my idea -
tank 1 RO water , basic setup nothing to difficult.
tank 2 will be NSW .
    here is the trick.
i have 1 pump , i need to circulate water , then close off a valve , and pump water into tank

drums have a hole in the top and the bottom.

any advise on this , i can add pictures , but they will be no master piece
any comments and idea are appreciated
    thanks

Plan looks like it will work.
Your going to need 2 valves. One to close of drainage. & one to close off link to mixing bin.
So you will have 1 pipe running from DT to drain. You will tee from this pipe to your mixing bin. So i would say just after you tee to mixing bin you'll have a valve & just after the tee the pipe that goes to drain, another valve.

So you close off mixing valve & open drain valve when draining, Then close off drain valve & open mixing valve when you refill. 1 pump on each end

If that makes any sense lol.

@mornewil , looks good , but will go striaght from and into DT , with a shut off valve, only thing that was a little confusing , was how to use 1 pump for circulation and then pumping water to DT , once mixing had been done
