    Hi

So I got 10 of these mini carpets in and after a week they all enjoying the sun shine. What is best to feed these babies. Sizes range from 4cm to 8cm. I offered a little bit of ON Chopped mussel but they were not too interested.

    Anyone have pics of theirs?

    How about pics of yours?:whistling:

Will they not eat fish flakes, live brine etc when you feed the tank? How much do you infact need to feed them.....I read.....somewhere cant remember where.... that they dont need much feeding.....

i dont have, but i feed all my nemmies frozen fish roe, about R15 per kg.
i take 2-3 table spoons add to tank water and use a turkey baster to gently blast them on to the tentecles, i tell you they cant stretch long enuff to get this... they love it

I can't find fish Roe! The system is 2650x1650x650 and the fish have been banished from getting anywhere near them because all they do is steal the foot. Ask the rics they have not eaten in months!

I have had mine for a couple of weeks now and havent fed them anything, they catch the odd flake or pellet now and then and I guess they get cyclopeez when I feed the tank.

I started a thread somewhere with pics of mine as well. :)

You can try small portions of silversides, krill, mysis shrimp, etc. The only one I ever had, I got by accident. I never target fed it. But I did heavily feed the tank.

My name is down at the fishmonger's for roe. If I get enough I'll send you some.

I honestly haven't seen an amazing response from the two different sources I've used. It's definitely appealing to fish, and coral/anemones eat it, but it's not the holy grail of feeding.

Most fish foods will work including flakes, pellets and frozen. Those little buggers can eat quiet big pieces of food. Mine just catch whatever comes there way but I do feed about 5 times per day
