    Hi there

I got hold of 2 MH 150Watt units and want to install on to my system. But I don't know how hight they must be from the water surface. I was thinking 300mm, my thank is 500 mm deep.

    Please any advise?

20cm more appropriate as your lights are only 150watt

Cool thanks will try the 20cm, as it will still give me space to put in some fans for cooling.

Yip, I would go with 20cm distance from the water surface to the light.
