    It gets mounted on a board, cut a square and push it in from the bottom the spirngs will hold them in place. Picture to follow

    make the cutout so the fitting fits into it (Slightly smaller than the outer dimentions). You will notice the spring restricting the fitting from fitting into the cutout, press the spring up against the fittings on both sides till the fitting fits into the cutout and the spring will then pull the fitting up using th board as leverage. to remove just pull the fitting downward and the springs gives way. Same as downlighters.

    thanks a million havent got my new tank yet so it will still be a while till I start building the hood so no rush

    sorry i thought they where still in the wood but i have striped them down, as i upgraded to LED's
