    Hi Michael,

    Welcome to MASA.

Please be good to all our inquisitive reefers, and post pics of your system!

Also, please tell us more about what you have, hardware-wise?

All of us are happy to help and answer questions, and some of the old boys (in terms of reefing experience!) will be glad to share with what worked for them, and what did not.

All the best with your new endeavor!

    Happy reefing.

    Cheers!

Is that a starfish in your tank? If it is I would advise selling it as iw won't be able to survive in such a new tank and also such a small tank. They need a lot of detritus to servive in the longrun. Maybe take it back to the shop or sell it on the forum.

Tank is looking nice by the way:thumbup:

I really don't think it would be happy in the long run, it will starve and you won't be able to notice it before it's too late. Maybe try supplement feeding it, by placing some food right in it's path and see if it eats it. Maybe you will be able to keep it happy I really hope so.Good luck

Welcome to MASA. Your tank is still young, so I suggest you read the link in my signature on starting a marine tank - you will learn a lot ;)

Im with @Annoying here, I got one when I just started and a few weeks later it literally fell apart, crumbling to pieces. My tank is almost a year old now and Im still too scared to get another one.
