    Slim & Elegant
Built with a slim and low profile body, the R420R Nano LED Lighting System is design to seamlessly merge into your living area with elegance. The R420R also comes with an adjustable tank-top mounting bracket.

    Overall dimensions:
    8.6" long, 10.5" wide and 0.9" thick.

    User Programmable
With 2 channels and 6 time-points: users can program their own photo-period for their aquariums and fully control the intensity of light their aquarium will receive from dawn to dusk.

    Aerodynamic Design
The R420R Lighting system deploys an ingenious aerodynamic design which draws cool air from underneath the fixture, through its body which also serves as a large heat sink, to dissipate heat passively.

    Redefined Efficiency
The R420R LED Lighting System redefines the term efficiency, 100% passively cooled, utilizing highly efficient high intensity LED chips from Cree.

    Enhanced Growth and Coloration
The Razor Lighting system is designed to provide all ranges of color spectrum required by corals and plants to enhance their growth rate, improve their coloration and at the same time give your aquarium the most aesthetically pleasing combination of colors. The Razor will meet the requirements of even the most sophisticated group of reef hobbyists.

    410nm/420nm Super Actinic
The Razor Lighting system also utilizes the 410nm/420nm Super Actinic LED
chips: the spectrum that is crucial for the success of any reef and water plant aquariums. It is required by Chlorophyll A for photosynthesis, where absorption peaks at 412nm.

    Passive Cooling
The Razor Lighting system is designed to be 100% cooled passively. The body of the Razor is crafted entirely in aluminum, serving as a large heat sink.
Together with an ingenious aerodynamic design, cool air is channeled through the bottom of the fixture and heat is dissipated through the aluminum chassis. Pre-installed and temperature-controlled fans that turns on only when the temperature rises past 120F.

    Latest in LED Technology
Utilizing the latest high performance high intensity Cree XLampR, XT-E and XP-E LED chips, equipped with 90-degree optics. The Razor will consume less power yet produce more PAR (Photosynthetic Active Radiation) for even your most demanding corals.

The squarish LED cluster produces an expected circular light field with peaks of PAR around 600-1000 umols at 12 inches away and a more usable, effective light field of 200-300 umols at 24 inches deep. This is really a awesome light and with PAR readings like this even SPS and clams will thrive!!!!

Perhaps one of the juiciest details revealed about the MaxSpect Razor Nano is that it will be able to be placed in series with existing Razor LED lights. Both LED fixtures are supported by mounting arms with a bend that slips into and through the actual Razor and Razor Nano LED fixtures. Recognizing the potential, Maxspect is making available a pair of connecting rails to allow for factory approved lengthening of your current 18 or 27″ MaxSpect Razor. So you don't have to sell you current Razor LED unit when upgrading your display, simply add a Razor Nano or two.
