I have been waiting a long time for this to be launched!

Would love to see an honest SA review of the product.

Can it be placed vertically in the aquarium?
im thinking of placing two on either side of the short side of my tank to make gyre flow pattern run in one direction and then the other direction...

With SPS I noticed if you have flow only in one direction then they start to grow in the direction of the flow..lol

Maybe this MAxspect gyre pump has something special to prevent this from happening..not sure??

From what ive seen you can set it to change direction, hence the time settings on the controller.

The reverse mode is though a lot slower than forward. I asked the same question as you @Ridwaan and got that response on fb

I have the Nuvo 60 tank ( 220lt ) and would like to know if the 130 or 150 would be the better choice for my tank. I have quite a bit of live rock in the tank and most of my corals are lps.

I'm thinking of installing the pump in a vertical position in the back corner, have the bottom impeller pointing down the back of the reef and the top impeller aimed at 45 deg onto the front glass. This should give me good flow around the back of the reef in a anti-clockwise direction and the bounced flow in a clockwise direction. Theoretically this should give me good flow and counter flow with a good dose of turbulence. Am I being clever or have I lost the plot???? If I can get this to work, I can then pull my RW8's out and admire my corals without the big RW's on each end of the tank.

My tank is only 950mm in length and I currently have 2 RW8's running at their lowest setting. This gives me great water movement, but they are an absolute eyesore as they are big when placed in such a small tank. I tried to get RW4's, but can't seem to find them anywhere.

    TIA
