    Hi Guys,
    Got this massive ugly slug in my tank, must be close on 15cm-20cm in length. He's an absolute cleaning machine.

    He's green and has 2 "horns" and 2 tiny eyes. Looks like he's got a massive blowhole like a whale (but on his bum, think it is his bum). He moves around a lot, and likes to sleep to.

    Anyone got any more info on these ugly slugs? Will he eat my reef?
    Will upload pic over the weekend sometime.

    :slayer::wtf:

    We have to see a pic of the monster. Some slugs are ok but others can be real nasty.

    Yip - just saw a pic online - it's a Sea Hare.
    Anyone know anything about these things? More info?

    If it's a true sea hare you could hire him out to needy reefers with problem algae issues. It is done in the UK and USA.

    I spotted one in my tank about 3 weeks ago. about 25mm in length olive green with horns and three brown spots on its back.

    haven't seen it since but I'm sure its just cruising around between the rock

    Just an update, I spotted that one in my tank over a month ago then not again.

    Last night I turned the lights on about 2 hours after dark and spotted 6 of these sea hares on the glass of the tank all about 1cm in length.

    This morning when I switched the lights on they were all still cruising on the glass
