    Hi all,

Thought I would start a thread for my current 4 ft tank...

This was originally a tropical tank. I then visited my LFS who was kind enough to sell me just about everything I didn't need.

Friends on MASA recommended I have a hole drilled as the system suggested by the LFS was gonna wet my carpets.

    We then installed the plumbing...

    Next up...create durso...

My small sump was then taken apart and a larger one built.

The sump has a very interesting home made Protein Reskimmer built in. This think kicks butt...

Now it was time to sort out the canopy and cabinet:

    Canopy...

2 x Petmasters T5 54W Ballasts with 2 x White 10000k and 1 x Actinic and 1 x Coral Blue Globes. I have 4 PC fans to help with heat in the canopy.

We hit a small snag with drilling the hole into the base but managed to get around the problem:

Light switches and timers installed next...

We then put the sump into the cabinet and did the wiring:-

    Looking good. FYI the corals are in the order you posted;
    Zoas,
    Button polyps,
    Pulsing(?) xenia,
    (colour when open) star polyps
    Mushrooms.

Whats the white nennie looking thing in the last pic? On the left hand side...

    Hi,

Ja, we had a thread going about this on Wednesday...I did a water change on Sunday and seems better now. That water was about 4 weeks old.
