Marks on Fox

    Can any one id these marks, fish is fine and eating well

    they look like wounds... would need a closer pic...

    in any event, feed him well and maybe soak his food in seachem flourish or boyds vitachem

    if only we had a LFS that had products lol, i was thinking wounds as i added a copperband, might have upset the purple and he took it out on the wrong fish

    Ill try get a better pic

    Seems he lost the fight with the purple.

    Else, do you have any stinging corals with long sweeper tentacles that could burn him?

    Riaan I have plenty LPS, but nothing new and he has been in my tank for 8 months

    i would get some herbtana and artemiss as both are reef safe and might help

    bacteria, fungicidal, open wounds, etc, it treats everything

    yip, bacterial infection is the big concern at the moment. It should heal quickly otherwise.

    I lost a yellow tang due to a infection. The yellow dude cut himself on a piece of egg crate!
    He was fine for 2 weeks, then he was gone! Rather treat now!
