Your tank is looking gorgeous, Mark! You can barely see any rock anymore because of coral coverage!Full tank shot from yesterday...got a couple more corals coming hopefully this week from MRC to fill in some gaps.
Thanks...although still too much rock showing for my liking
Got some daisy polyps and placed zoas strategically around in new locations lately to try and get the bare spots grown over...still looking for a couple more less invasive carpeting type corals such as sympodium to help in this regard.
@tekkengal you Made me think about how much progress has been made since setting up and so went back and found a pic from 15 December
And took one now today...exactly 10 months later...
It’s amazing looking at things every day you don’t realize how much has changed and grown. It really has filled out a lot, I’m still not completely happy with it, but ya it has come a long way in the last 10 months.

Got some new livestock this week...my Aussie corals finally arrived. Worth the wait cause there are some really great pieces, hopefully the sps pieces do well in my tank...worth a try anyway.
Also got myself a tiny little 6 Line Wrasse..I know they have a bad reputation, but I’ve never had issues with them in the past, and this one is the smallest fish in the tank.
My refugium is also starting to fill up nicely with macro algae’s
Some pics below of the new new livestock, refugium grow out and a random of my little anemone shrimp and spotted mandarin that were out and about.

I have the following fish in there at the moment:
Gem tang
Tigerpyge angel
Mystery wrasse
6 line wrasse
Peppermint hogfish
Chalk bass
Spotted mandarin
Flame hawkish
Local anthias
Bangaii cardinal x2
Photon clownfish x2
I have the a green banded goby, 2 red neon eviota gobies and a pearly jawfish on order from MRC which will add to that fish list...also getting another 4 local anthias from a friend this week when he shuts down his second tank...maybe overstocked at that point...will have to see how things pan out.
Looks really amazing, so many different types of corals, really impressive.
Awesome, not the everyday average fish! When is the next blue spot entering the tank?
Haha I’m done with trying to keep bluespot jawfish...they clearly don’t like me...jawfish in general seem to be my Achilles heel of fish...but will give the pearly one last try.
Setting up a second tank for oddity fish that don’t fit in a reef system like this...may try a blue spot again in there

Good luck with the six line, I had one and never again. Hopefully yours is not the devil spawn like the one I had.
