hi guys...

anyone out there have used any paint that is safe for marine life
i want to paint the inside of my wooden canopy, i will have the outside sanded and
stained and varnished but the inside i need a safe paint...

please can you advise me...
thanx...

For the inside, paint it white. Velvalglo is a good paint to use.

hi mekaeel

thanx i will do so, so i take it that its lead free, i get it white is excellent
to reflect the full colour specturum ;)

hi thalion

actually not looking for reflection but on the safety paint so that the wood dont start rotting and stuff, but your idea is cool

thalion and mekaeel do your'll have a canopy and if so what is the insides lined with

comon mekaeel
before them bones rust up get going, infact the canapoy should be a breeze compaired to the setup of your new tank ...... ;)

excellent advise and you dont even need a undercoat.. its a thichsotropic paint so dont stir before use.. its meant to be used thick... it is solvent based so allow good ventilation and curing time before putting back near the tank...

oh just another thing it has an anti fungacide addetive in the product already so mould so long as theres adequate ventilation is almost never a problem.
