Hi MASA members. My name is Muhammed, and I am from Durban. I am not an owner of a marine tank, but a tropical tank instead.

I am currently on holiday at margate, and have identified some species at the local beach for which I require an ID. I am not a 100% certain if this is the best forum for such a request, but assume your knowledge in this field will of assistance.

On image one, what are those small fishes, and red, green and pink plants on that rock?

Image 2 , name of yellow plant

Image 3 name of red species, and one next to it

Image 4, green plant/coral
Inage 5 name this specie. Slime below can be used as bait

Image 6. Looks like plankton

Thanks

3 - red is sponges
4 zoa
5 - limpit snail

The other pics got too much reflection. And I'm not too much into macro algae's.

1 - Green is a type of Caulerpa algae, Caulerpa filiformis I think. The pink ones are branching types of corraline algae. The fish look like a type of damsel fish.
6 - Lettuce algae (Ulva species)
