Seeing that we are still in the summer months, how about another collection trip?
Perhaps Sheffield this time? We did South on the previous trip, lets give North a bash this time.

That would be awesome. We went to Treasure beach yesterday. Wild wind and lots of silt but came away with a few zoas. Maybe just my hunting skills but keen to try a different spot.

Also the steps suck big wind.

The steps still suck big wind but after dusting of our potentially nice zoas they looked like this.

Normal green, nice bright orange/green and also purple.

Super stoked! They actually looked black when we got them.

Took few, left lots but wouldn't be able to tell you exactly where. Down the steps and a very far walk to the right is the best I can do.

I'm really happy with them. Didn't look nearly so good in the pools, just not the normal brown green. If the meet is going to be collection I will try hard to come.

I really want some glass shrimp. @Bonehead has some and they are always in the front with loads of character. My ornamental shrimp hide all day long.

Ask for a fishing licence then mark the relevant block for collecting it's like 80bucks or something

@Disaster check the boxes that say marine fish and aquatic plants. They are R80 each I think

@ Disaster if you Google department of fisheries it should give you a list of what you can can't take. But don't worry the guys that will be @ the meet are very helpful
