Hey guys. Wanted to know why are magnet mounts "better" than suction cups, are they really better and are suction cups crappy? I was thinking maybe I dont have to buy magnet mounts and I could save a buck or two. Are they worth it?

The only problem i've had with the suction cups is that after a while they become brittle and you need to replace them and secondly they tend to fall off the glass after a while where the magnet mounts stay fixed and never comes off

Well i got suction cups the only thing is the glass needs to be very clean and then they stick like hell, removing them is very hard lol. They do get brittle eventually but it takes long

I've had problems with sunsun and seio suction cups, there's also a chance the suction cup on a sunsun will outlast the pump itself, you'll never need to replace magnets. A pump in your sandbed is also not pretty.

Magnets! no matter what the cost will be my weapon of choice, they make a visible pump appear neater and are very reliable when keeping a pump positioned.

    expensive but worth it
