How much was the ceramic shaft and where did u get it from?

What setting are you running this in our tank? How big is your tank as well?

Sorry to jack this old thread... I got one of these pumps at a clearance at Animal Kingdom last week. but the pump cannot run without the controller! It has to be plugged into the controller using the male jack (I think)... same as my laptop power jack. anybody know anyone that can help me with it?

Hey @Aquetas I am running two of these pumps in my tank. You saw them in action when you came to my place a while back. They were overkill for my standard 4ft at the time... Really awesome pumps. They have some cool settings as well.
@Rebelo I also had an issue with noise on the one pump. It was because the cover was loose, get that sorted and they are quiet. I run both at full speed in my new tank.. The overflow is more noisy with a than the pumps.. and thats with a durso pipe. The only issue with these I would say are the weak suckers. but you can get the Sun Sun magnet holders and they work fine.
