    Hi guys,

I have a terrible micro algae problem that i'm really trying my best to get rid of. I think its cyano, possibly caused by my son overfeeding when i was away in jhb.

I'm thinking of or would like to add some macro algae into my tank and hope for a good result?

If anyone in CT area has some to give away i will really appreciate it.

    Cheers

Hi Sammy - please remind us what tank you have again? It would be preferable that you put the macro algae in your tank's sump, with some strong lighting over the macro algae.

If you want chaetomorpha - I can give you (even though - I am a little bit far from you - I am in Table View on the West Coast).........

had the same prob, TL550, had to take everything out of tank to coincide with partial water change and siphon/filter substrate and replace with fine sand/crushed coral 4 inch depth. introduction of White star fish helped as well.

No shape shifting!, He watches Star Trek. We may be beginners but we support local industry for supply and advise and are not on a knowledge buzz.
